Approaching the end of the first decade of the 21st century, we stand at a dark precipice that begs the question: Revolution or slavery? Yet we hesitate to even state this out loud for fear of being whisked off to a secret detention camp built by Halliburton. And therein lies the proof of our desperate situation. Before George W. Bush destroyed habeas corpus, we would not have been reluctant to speak up. Now we cringe. The politicians—Democrats and Republicans alike—have taken away your right to speak. The big corporations have taken away your right to make a fair wage. Together they have taken away your right to privacy. Those who are depending on a new administration to save us should not forget the lessons of history: Rulers must be pushed and prodded at best, deposed at worst. If our new President and Congress do not act dramatically and soon to reverse past trends, the American people will have to force them to do so. It’s that or slavery.

Liked your article. Read a book called “You have no Rights”. After I read the book I started contributing to the ACLU because they had helped so many people in the book.
I found out later (I still contribute) that Bush has listed the ACLU as a terrorist organization. I also give to PETA. He named them as a terrorist organization but a judge reversed that.
I read your book “Sex Lies and Politics”, you are a very smart man.
Thanks for keeping the sex to one chapter (that I didn’t read). I read someone’s review on Amazon.com. They said they were hoping for more sex. Once I read that, I ordered your book.

Today’s riposte regarding a bailout for the porn industry sort of missed the mark. And the opportunity to make some important points, skewer the sanctimonious and do some real good.
We are all hurting and though I’ll concede sex and entertainment are important, so too is being a good public citizen. And the 2 are not mutually exclusive.
How about helping restaurants get their table scraps to soup kitchens? (You know how to do the photo op.)
Or what about donating computers for schools, financing college scholaraships, or creating a foundation to help families who have kids with chronic health problems, like cancer or diabetes. No republican would do that. But there is increasing need. I am all in davor of uniting. On the streets and between the sheets.
Eschew the cheap easy PR. If every individual and every company gave a little more of themselves, no one would be the poorer for it. Perhaps cleaning up a beach isn”t fun. Theb again, it’s all about what suits you.
You have the cojones to do this thing right. You can even make doing the right thing fun.
That’s the sort of news you should be making now.

Wanted to offer you an argument for Porn.
Not so much freedom of speech but rather morality.
Bankers and people that work in many modern industries pollute. By polluting they harm the planet, small creatures and other human beings. You also kill! Leather coats, shoes, beaf steaks, etc and or you can be excessively cruel as in intensive farming (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battery_cage).
Its quite probably that actors in the porn industry actually enjoy themselves (though a research would have to be made!)and they allow consumers of porn to enjoy without harming others.
Before criticizing porn it is necessary to go environmental.
Polluting and poisoning the world sometimes for trivial pleasures that we don’t even fully savor is against goodness. Thus it is immoral, especially when we talk about the excess (which is what many industries seek . . . to make you spend more!)
Consider that vegetarians and vegans go vegetarian and vegan in order not to harm small creatures.
Porn is an industry that generates pleasure with very little pollution. Its more moral than producing chocolate where forced child labor is used in the collection of cocoa.
You feel good after sex . . . there is consent of adults. . though sometimes there are some difficult situations (forced consent of one kind or another which is the problem) and little or no harm is done.
How many moral Christians eat chocolate?
Some research can validate the argument even more.

I am posting this message here because I couldn’t find your contact email. I am researching a special project on changing content in men’s magazines over the decades. It is ‘inspired’ by the outrageous claims made by Judith Reisman. I am sure you remember her. Unlike her team of well-financed by tax-payer money minions, I am doing this all myself and so far, as a volunteer. It’s a lot of work scanning to document the reality of text and words: cartoons, editorials, advertisements, articles, news, letters etc. I’d be happy to give you access to any website I should develop or a copy of any book that should be published as a result of my investigations. Its purpose is to report accurately and fairly on how the three big magazines (plus Oui) had different policies and slants, and how legal, social and commercial conditions changed content. You have been on my mind on and off ever since I watched the movie about your life over 10 years ago.
I’m a business person who accepted Christ as my savior many years ago and like you as soon as I did the Devil devoured me and I too lost my faith for many years.
Larry you are still God’s child. Once you invite Jesus into your heart, you can not evict him. You can run from God but he is still watching over you. My dear brother please understand the our Father God did not have anything to do with you getting shot.
Larry take a look at Isaiah 24 and Revelation 17. There is not much time for us to mend our relationship with God. Our Father misses you and wants to restore the relationship with his beautiful son, he is waiting for you.

We need giving, sharing, tolerance, financial security, and freedom for all in this country and around the world. The United States needs to purge itself of the private ownership of the Federal Reserve Bank, which was taken over through Congress in 1913.
The United States needs to increase intensely the internal purging of its government of greed and corruption in all branches of government. The peoples economics for once and for needs to put in the forefront.
This recent economic collapse was building for decades. I often wondered if writing in Larry Flint’s Blog if I would become a target of the state. I have been reluctant to speak up in fear I would become more of a target for the local police. Should I have to live in fear of my own country where the common criminal becomes more a inviting friend for safety. At least you can seek your mind with out fear of prosecution to those kind of people. Now there are laws preventing you from your quest of knowledge, to know certain things you can go to prison. Asking the wrong questions is called facilitation a class X felony in some states.
We as people have to fight for our freedoms before freedom becomes a dirty word. Larry Flint speaks the truth we all should listen to what he has to say. And why should Larry be the only one who has to go to prison for your freedoms or risk his life ? Support Flint he only fights for you…..!

Why would anybody question the views and vision of Larry Flynt? Or should I ask who is qualified to question Mr. Flynt? This is a man who stood alone, and paid a price on many different levels to fight for a principle that still benifits Americans today. At the time, not many people realized how dangerous censorship is, be thankful Larry did. I believe it is necessary now. We may have to watch our tongues, and flapping our jaws, but what the hell could government(s) say about a simple symbol with no words, that en masse continues your pursuits? Dear Mr. Flint,
BofA made a fraudulent loan to my business for the express purposes of misappropriating my intellectual software. The loan officer was a foreign national. I used to own a female minority small disadvantaged defense contracting firm for 13 years. Our primary customers were military and civilian agencies.
After we informed authorities they asked us to play along for a while and we fed them info until we couldn’t take it anymore and the bank was informed and pretended to want to settle.
They then acted without probable cause and foreclosed on our residential property in an attempt to squeeze us in negotiations. We fired our attorneys and all hell broke lose until we were forced into bankruptcy.
After we fired the second attorney and learned the law, we filed fraud charges and the judge in the foreclosure case stayed the sale and informed BofA that they had to answer questions. BofA asked for a new judge and will probably be awarded one today.
In a separate case about the business loan, the judge has set May 6, for a decision on my motion to reconsider. My initial complaint was filed under Conspiracy to Commit a Financial Crime which is a criminal statute that provides no private right of action.
I believe that I was targeted because I criticized the Bush Administrations use of religion to promote their wars and spoke of the false interpretations that they attached to religion to get their way.
The banker has direct connections to convicted felon Anton Rezko and a man who has been publicly identified as the main supplier of chemical and nuclear weapons parts to Iran.
I have documentation on everything.
If I provide you with copies of the Judges orders, would you be willing to do the story? 60 minutes said that they would only consider doing the story after everything is all over. That doesn’t help us and the only other person willing to do a story against BofA was Munir Muhammed in Chicago.
