The Education Crisis
College students and recent graduates are carrying nearly a trillion dollars in student debt. According to a recent report, college graduates in 2010 walked away owing an average of $25,250 in loans; 9.1% of them were unable to find work. Others were forced to take low-wage jobs that did not reflect their skill level. Add to that the escalating cost of a college education— California public universities increased tuition by 21%—and you all but eliminate low-income students from the collegiate ranks. It’s a scandal that America has done so little to make higher education affordable to every citizen.
To those who have been frozen out of the education system, I say don’t give up. I left school in the eighth grade. When I was 15, I joined the Navy (with a fake ID). Painfully aware of my lack of education, I subscribed to a book-of-the-month club. That was followed by a series of correspondence courses. And more reading— everything I could get my hands on. My message is this: You can teach yourself everything you need to know to be successful. You just have to want it. Being self-taught won’t open any doors for you, but it will teach you how to go around them.

Larry,
I couldn’t agree with you more. I had to struggle my way through High School despite weak grades and a counseling staff that put me through a vocational program because they felt I couldn’t hack college. Despite this I went on to get a Bachelor Degree in Communications. I work t the State. They demanded that I go back and get a more appropriate degree to be promotable. So in 2005 I went back and obtained a MBA. Still the excuses and sad state infrastructure crushed the hopes of furthering my career opportunities. However I have earned a mounting debt. I am currently looking for other employment. Perhaps I am tired of taking bull from the system, but the fact is I have a fire in my belly to do something different and real. Contact me; I think I may want to work for you. We have that same core values in freedom of speech among other rights constitutionally promised to us. Yes I am ballsy enough to ask for a job.

The student body at UC has come up with an innovative proposal to abolish tuition entirely…and the UC president is considering it.
Instead of tuition, the students would pay “5 percent of their annual income for 20 years after graduating.”
This would encourage colleges to ‘teach to the job market’ and would be progressive, charging those students who benefited the most, the highest amounts, and those who benefited the least, or who couldn’t get work at all (the presumption is that someone doesn’t spend 4 years in college unless he/she wants a job over the next 20 years) the least, or nothing if they can’t find work.

Larry,
I have enjoyed how you have always spoken your mind on issues as I grew up in Cincinnati. I recently had the pleasure to play golf with Harry the proprietor of Deja’ Vu with a business associate of mine and my 15 year old daughter in Miami and had a wonderful time. It also made me delve into your site and I am glad I did so. Please keep up the diligent efforts you are able to relentlessly pursue on behalf of so many people who lack the ability and resources. I applaud you for speaking the truth.
Best wishes,

Larry,
I didn’t graduate from college but instead went straight into the workforce, following my dad’s footsteps into the printing industry. I worked at Wisconsin Color Press ( formerly Wisconsin Cuneo Press) for many years. I learned a lot from hands on experience about printing and life and SEX while working there. (you may remember my father Tom Nulty) Anyhow as most of realize with the advance of technology some things come to a sad end. The printing industry has taken a serious hit due to the internet –
When my children expressed a desire to enter the printing field I had to be very frank with them that it wasn’t the best option out there for them. Both of my children did attend college and earned degrees but the student loan payments are over the top – It is very hard to find a job that pays well enough to support yourself and pay back the loans. I would have hoped that our government would help bail some of the youth of today instead of teh CEO’s -
I wish you continued success with your business!

Dear Hustler. I am self educated with Health Therapeutic devices forover 15 years now. I am looking into giving advanced Massage therapy at a Strip Club here in La Crosse Wi. I plan to specialise on clearing P.T.S. in soldiers. Like a VHS tape, I CAN erase that emotion from 3key spots on the body. Subtle energy isn’t used or really taught by the A.M.A. Rockefellar Maffia Profit Health Care systm. My idea, going around the Orthedox doors as you mentioned Mr.Flynt. I demand you give me full access to making my DVD series showing many differant Alternative Health devices, theraputic tools, being used on sxy babes, pus my commentary which will be a high selling point. We need leaders, I am one! Plus when people see a number of my devices being used, they become interested and will envariably desire to buy one themself. Thus so, I can offer a web site thru Hustler “selling” the featured Health tools. Such like the Chi-Infritonic pulse magneic tool. I highly recomend. I would make it abundently cear to those viewing my Hustler produced Health DVD that their purchase supports this Health care paradagam change/shift. Who ma I call/contact to further this progressive attack to encourage alternative Health device clinnics, not acceptable to the Orthodox AMA Big Pharma Drug dealers!!!!!! Help me.

I’ll go as far as to say “what good is it” and brother can you spare a dime? From past experience the Small Business Owner expects a turn around in profits hiring a college grad that’s never realized. And crazy as it maybe having to start a business of your own is to start somewhere usually requiring a capital investment and a second income. The idea a service that operates souley and out of the jurisdiction of the tax codes that draws fire from unemployment.

Dear Hustler, getting public sentiment is what any & all companies need to sell their product. You don’t need a Colledge degree for that, like the film I just watched about a Dolphin with it’s tail amputated, great Movie based on actual event! That Paligamist sect in Texas, a few years ago. They had about 4000 kids taken from their Parents. I heard those kids were not Vaccinated by the A.M.A. program. I would like Hustler to do a follow up story, see how many of the 4000 kids has Autism??? & were they force vaccinated when they were abducted from their Religous Compound. I know the Public/Cattle don’t care, they will still drag their two year old kids in for Swine Flu-eey Vaccine & what ever the Media scum is forced to sell..Rense.com Autism is treatable, just not by the profit A.M.A. Drug dealers. But you know better than most Mr.Flynt what gullable ass-holes the American Public / Cattle Rrrrrrr. Pussies in the wind.

Dear friends for Hustler..As yet I havn’t offered any Massage at the strip club,, been there a couple times & didn’t see any vets, soldiers etc..May have to scope other locals for possibility.. Problem being how closed minded people are.. I think there stuck in funk, self loathing & damaged goods syndrom..My schedule for theraputic care starts with a person looking into their eyes in the mirror, & say “I LOVE YOU & I am your champion, I will always be here for you!” This will show me they Love them self, because if not,,,, attempting to bring about positive Health response, may in fact be torture for them, thus ineffective & they will project hatred toward me & them self.. So not worth 2 seconds of my time…. Alternative Health Clinnics are a must & can only come to fluishen when the Cattle seek it out & vocalise there incense with Drug Pushing dehumanised Medical screwing….Imagine a Hospital waiting room being a Green House, full of Flowers & trickling water falls… Can you say, relaxing environment.. Not if ugly is your choice to channel stregnth from…Thankyou..
