Mr. Flynt,

(I posted this response under another "Statement", but I think this one is probably more appropriate. I wrote this on my phone, so please understand that misspellings sneak through and I apologize for those in advance.)

Your strength and resolve to strike against those who would oppress the citizenry of the US and erode our freedoms (particularly the First Amendment) is inspiring.

While I don’t always agree with the subject matter of certain writing genres, I am outraged at how the money-handlers (credit card companies and their bulldog, PayPal) skirt those freedoms by telling booksellers what they can and cannot sell…if they wish to use those services to process any payments whether “outlawed” items are purchased or not…particularly if an indie or small press publishes the work in question.

You are in the best position to scream our cause and fight, yet again, to protect our freedoms.

Once these monopolistic corporations are allowed to dictate what consumers can purchase, and by doing so what artists (writers in particular) can create, they are greatly emboldened and will restrict our markets even further.

Please Mr. Flynt, the creativity, and the future, of our society depends on warriors like you waging these battles because your voice is much more powerful than we small, indie writers can possibly match.

Thank you for your consideration. If you would like more information, I will be happy to send it to you.

Businesses have no place policing our thoughts, just like the government.
