Occupy Oakland
Did the police provoke the peaceful crowd at Occupy Oakland? Watch the video and decide…
10/25/2011
“The police line prevented any movement of the marches further and then as you can see in the video the sudden unprovoked rush by the police into the crowd. This was at about 5pm on Tuesday 10/25/2011. This was the first use of force by the police on this infamous night. An hour or so later the use of tear gas and flash grenades was again used on broadway which severely injured the marine veteran.” – Occupier

It,s surly a right to protest, march, and enjoin in a cause. But exactly what is the cause. I’m not stupid but the avenues to change a system into another system and express a invalid dislike about those that are financial achievers seems to have entered a deadend freeway.
If this has been taught to this generation by the education system, then I agree that a most agregious problem exists with comprehension in a number of education platforms……….. These folks think we owe them something?????? The only balance due them is nothing. And thats not

If we look back over the past several years we will see a constant erosion of our Constitutional rights. One of the things our forefathers placed in the “Bill of Rights” is the right to peaceful assembly.
It seems that the Occupy movement is being peaceful until the law enforcement community becomes involved. Then the Occupiers fight back in self defense. This is then shown through the media outlets in the country. There have been numerous incidents in which the violence has been escalated by the police.
It reminds me of the sixteenth century when protesters would come forward and the King of England would order them jailed or assaulted. This is what led to the Revolutionary War. Is this where the Occupy movement is heading? The only violence in these protests is due to law enforcement, just like the 1700s. I would like to believe we have grown since then but I guess not.
We are looking at the beginnings of another war. Not with a foreign country and not with our brothers and sisters (the Civil War). The war that is soon to come is a class war. Those who are struggling to make ends meet with their own families are tired of the government stealing money from them and funneling it to the backers of Congress. Yes, we have the best Congress money can buy. And with the current Congress that statement rings true to everyone.
Why should we pay more and more tax to have that money go to the richest 1% in the country and to giant oil companies who are posting billion dollar profits every quarter. That’s right billions. Why do they need our money? Members of Congress are protecting their richest backers by not voting on tax increases on the richest 1%. As I said, Congress has been bought.
This country is tearing itself apart. We don’t need another attack from radical extremists; the Republicans are doing it themselves. They have been throwing a childish tantrum ever since Obama was elected and they couldn’t find a way of hi-jacking, stealing, the election like they did for George W. Bush. They did the same thing when Clinton was elected to office. Dick Army stood up in Congress and declared Clinton was a “Traitor” to the country. They spent billions of dollars trying to come up with something to tarnish his name and creditability and could only come up with Monica. All that money wasted. The only people who should be called a traitor are those who refuse to work with the Democrats in moving our country forward. These are the people who are allowing this country to fall apart while protecting their backers. I am from Ohio and I am ashamed to say that John Boehner is from here.
The Occupy movement will continue to gain momentum until Congress begins working with each other to better the country and quit bickering and fighting over political ideologies. The Republicans are allowing this country to fall apart by not working together on the budget. The Republicans plan to continue this crap right up to the elections next year. That way they can say that Democrats failed to come up with a budget. It seems to me that someone who works in opposition to our country should be called a Traitor. Yes, that means the current setting Republican Congress. Radical Islam doesn’t need another Osama bin Laden, they have the Republican Congress destroying the country from within.

Ola! Larryflynt,
Very interesting, Oakland, California police arrested 100 Occupy protesters now as a result of riots broke out amongst police and protesters who refused to abandon the region. The protesters ended up allegedly throwing gadgets at the police. As a end result, the police sprayed them with pepper spray and rubber bullets.
Will violence like this carry on?
Cheers
